Beyosa

Beyosa

– Tailored sleep to Germany

About

Beyosa is the name behind a new startup in 2019 based in Berlin, Germany. Their main purpose is to make people sleep better, and wishing to do so by offering a quality range of technological sleeping products that can be personalized. They needed a brand strategy, concept, design language and an e-commerce platform.

How to design

for

a start-up

When the company and product is new, the direction of the brand strategy and design direction is open wide. I was actively involved in that strategy based on research on the german market and their consumers.

Configurator

What I am most proud of, is the configurator for their mattresses and pillows – both for singles and couples. The work started by finding everything there is know about the industry and their product. Then I created a product matrix based on key parameters such as height, weight and sleeping position. Then I turned it into wireframes and gave it a personal touch through the tone of voice.

See how the configurator works in the following video

My work

I was actively involved in the process from pitch to optimization / more bizz post launch. I traveled to Berlin for workshops and facilitated them in Copenhagen with the rest of the team. The project also involved collaboration between two other agencies and Beyosa themselves as well of course, meaning stakeholder management was inherent in this process. My work entailed:

  • Strategy

  • Industry - and market Research

  • Target Group

  • Information Architecture

  • Configurator flow, payment flows etc.

  • Wireframing

  • UX Copywriting

  • Workshop Facilitation

  • Stakeholder Management
